Girls Who Click (US)

GIRLS WHO CLICK empowers females ages 13-30 to enter the male-dominated field of nature photography and use their work to further conservation efforts around the world. We aim to inspire a new generation of female nature photographers and conservationists through our free nature photography workshops for teen girls (13-18) and our Ambassador Program for young photographers and videographers (16-30). We believe that photography is not just about making pretty pictures – it’s about using effective pictures to making a difference. Through Girls Who Click, girls will gather the confidence to pursue their passion and apply it as adult photographers and conservationists.

Women Photograph Mentorship Program (US)

This year, The Women Photograph Mentorship Program will pair five early career photographers with an industry leader as a mentor, and provide $2,000 in support for work on a local visual storytelling project over the course of six months. They are currently seeking applications from women and nonbinary photographers of any age with less than five years of professional work experience who might be interested in long-term support. The mentorship program will take place remotely over the course of July-December of 2024, and requires proposing work on a specific project throughout that period. They will strongly prioritize photographers looking to work locally / within their own communities, and estimate that the mentorship will require a minimum of 8-12 hours of engagement per month. Mentors will be selected specifically because of their areas of expertise in relation to each selected mentee’s project and practice.
