Women in Film & TV (UK) is the leading membership organisation for women working in creative media in the UK and as proud members of Women in Film & Television International we are part of a global network of over 12,000 women. Members of our organisation come from a broad range of professions spanning the entire film and television industry.

The gender disparity within our industry has persisted as a significant concern, and here at Shoot Blue, we are committed to actively tackling this issue. In pursuit of this goal, we have implemented noteworthy initiatives to empower women in film and strengthen the networks that uphold them.

The BBC offers a variety of entry schemes in television. The Production Trainee Scheme, open to both grads and non-grads, is its gold standard, fast-track, paid traineeship that offers placements in TV and radio around the UK and mentoring from a senior BBC manager.
Young Film Academy
Young Film Academy (YFA), is the UKʼs leading provider of filmmaking courses, filmmaking programmes for schools, community filmmaking projects, filmmaking outreach events and kids film parties to young people aged 5-18.
